Medik8 Clarifying Foam is an anti-bacterial exfoliating foaming wash that is designed for Problematic Skin, it’s lightweight, gentle formula leaves the skin feeling cool, refreshed and thoroughly clean, as it removes dirt, oil, skin impurities and make-up. As well as working to unclogging pores without ever over drying the skin or causing irritation & stripping the skin’s natural protective oils. This helps to ensure the skin’s natural protective oils are left balanced and blemish-causing bacteria are diminished. Over time, tone and texture of the skin is significantly improved.

This product was previously known as Medik8 Beta Cleanse. 

Benefits of using Medik8 Clarifying Foam:

• Foaming pump allows gentle application to the face, without the need for vigorous rubbing to create foam
• Salicylic acid helps to gently remove the skin cells that are ‘clogging up’ pores and contributing to outbreaks.
• By removing the most superficial skin layer, Salicylic acid allows the other active ingredients to penetrate
• Niacinamide (vitamin B3 complex) has anti-inflammatory properties and helps regulates the production of sebum
• Both salicylic acid and nicotinic acid have a keratin-dissolving property to help alleviate sebum blocking the pores
• L-Mandelic acid is a potent exfoliator but unlike Glycolic acid, does not irritate, cause erythema or burning
• L-Mandelic acid also demonstrates antiseptic activity, making it suitable for hypersensitive acne-prone skin types
• Tea Tree oil is an established natural antibacterial agent
• Chlorhexadine Gluconate (used as a preservative) has inate anti-bacterial action

How to use:

Firstly cleanse the skin, twice daily. Pump a small amount of the cleanser into the palm of the hand and then massage into moistened face and neck area. Rinse thoroughly and pat face dry. Avoid contact with the eyes, if contact does occur then rinse immediately with water.

If skin dryness or irritation occurs, reduce usage to every other day. If irritation persists, cease immediate use and then contact a skincare professional or your doctor.

Products containing acids can make the skin prone to dryness and sun damage, introducing them into your routine gradually and also remember to apply a sunscreen every morning to protect against UV rays will benefit your skin.
